Try your hand at traditional crafts including blacksmithing and jewellery making in the beautiful setting of Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle.

Heritage Craft Workshops
Try your hand at traditional blacksmithing on an original Victorian forge which was relocated to the County Museum from Dog Lane, Bewdley in the 1960s.
Throughout the day, tutor Paul Ashmore will demonstrate a range of techniques, then you’ll be able to work at your own pace using the forge, anvil, hammer, and tongs to create a variety of items to take home.

Learn the basics of traditional jewellery making to create a beautiful silver ring with expert Melissa Hunt.
Use copper to explore a range of techniques including applying textures and finishes, then make a stunning silver ring to your own design and size.
