Captivating Costume | Talk, Tour, and Behind the Scenes Look
Saturday 26 September, 11.15am – 1pm | Worcestershire County Museum
Worcestershire County Museum is home to a hugely varied costume collection. Exhibition Captivating Costume features clothes from the Georgian era to the 1970s and beyond – you can even admire Ginny Lemon’s Vesta Tilley inspired outfit!
In September, delve into this fantastic collection with curator Claire Cheshire.
Enjoy a talk exploring the stories behind the costumes and clothes in the collection, followed by refreshments. Then, head to Captivating Costume for an in-depth look at the displays. In small groups, head behind the scenes to get a close-up glimpse at some of the collection which isn’t currently on display.
Bring along your questions and enjoy this special opportunity to get up close to one of the County Museum’s most impressive collections.
