The Spring Makers’ Fair is coming to Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum on Saturday 9 May. With a fabulous range of craft makers from Worcestershire and beyond, visitors can browse whilst enjoying the gorgeous interior of the Museum.
The Spring Makers’ Fair will be full of local artists and craft makers for visitors to explore. Stall holders will be selling an exquisite range of artisan gifts including prints, jewellery, textiles, homeware, jams and more! Visitors will have the opportunity to chat to makers and discover their creative processes and stories behind the unique items.
“We love bringing local artists and craft makers to the Art Gallery and Museum for the Makers’ Fairs. There is always a beautiful range of stalls for visitors to enjoy. The Spring Makers’ Fair will be an excellent opportunity to pick up a gift for a loved one, or yourself!” Tracey Ayre, Events Officer at the Art Gallery and Museum.
The much-loved Museum Shop complements the Fair with an excellent range of cards and gifts, with many items also from local artists. Visitors can fuel their shopping with coffee and cake or lunch at Little Al’s Kitchen at the Balcony café.
To extend their visit, visitors can enjoy the spring exhibition, John Singer Sargent: an American in Worcestershire. Tickets are available to be purchased via museumsworcestershire.org.uk or on the day from the Museum Shop.
