  • Booking live now at commandery-quest.co.uk
  • Commandery Quest: The Servant’s Secret has been created by award-winning escape room designers, Imaginarium Design

Following the success of the first escape room to open inside the historic building, Commandery Quest: The King’s Seal in 2022, this new room brings an exciting unique challenge for players.

Created by the award-winning Imaginarium Design, new room The Servant’s Secret is based on the traditional escape room experience in which teams tackle a series of puzzles against the clock.

Based in the attic rooms away from the normal visitor route, the Commandery Quest escape rooms invite teams to explore The Commandery like never before.

Taking on The Servant’s Secret, teams of 2 – 8 players will step into the shoes of the servants of the house in the Victorian era. The story of the room follows a precious vase which has disappeared, and the mystery is turning the inhabitants of the house upside down as accusations fly. The servants must catch the porcelain thief before one of them is wrongly held responsible – but are they looking for a fellow servant, or could the villain be the cold, commanding housekeeper, Miss Crow?

Commandery Events Officer Helen Manning says: “It’s been really exciting to work with Katie at Imaginarium Design to bring our second escape room to life! She’s created some really unique puzzles – we can’t wait for everyone to give it a go, and to welcome back players of the first room for a new challenge.”

Luci, a Commandery Quest game player says: “it’s hard to beat the location in such a beautiful, atmospheric, historic setting.”

The Commandery is in the heart of historic Worcester, just minutes from the High Street, riverside and many pubs and restaurants, with convenient parking opposite in King Street.

The Commandery’s Games Masters are ready to greet teams and help them with their quest.

Booking for both escape rooms is open now at commandery-quest.co.uk, or for more information please call The Commandery on 01905 361821.

The Commandery’s History

Set in the heart of historic Worcester, it’s most famous for being the Royalist Headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War – the Battle of Worcester 1651. See what’s on in 2026 to commemorate the 375th anniversary of the battle.

Built on the site of an early medieval chapel, The Commandery has also been a monastic hospital, family home, a college for the blind, and it housed the Littlebury Printworks before becoming today’s museum revealing significant stories of its city’s history.

With lots of history to uncover, gardens to explore, interactive fun and regular events, The Commandery is the perfect place for a family day out.
