Follow the Enchanted Fairy Door trail at Worcester’s historic Commandery

Bank Holiday Monday 1 May

This Bank Holiday Monday 1 May The Commandery throws open its doors for families to enjoy a fabulous new enchanted family trail around the historical building.

Twelve gorgeous fairy doors are hidden around the museum for questers to find, and the most intrepid explorers will also discover a secret door somewhere in the glorious Commandery gardens.

Children are invited to dress up in their magical outfits – The Commandery’s team will too! Families can also decorate their own enchanted fairy door for a little bit of magic to take home.

The Commandery in the heart of historic Worcester is one of the city’s oldest buildings. Just five minutes from the beautiful riverside and situated alongside the canal it offers a brilliant day out for all the family. Visitors can enjoy the wonderful canal-side café Commandery Coffee with homemade food and drinks.

Events Officer Helen Manning says: “We are very excited to hold this bank holiday event for the first time at The Commandery. We hope it will be a magical day out for families, and the Aspire exhibition – including golden wings and holographic images – can be enjoyed around the building too!”

Opening hours on Bank Holiday Monday are 10am – 5pm (last entry 4.15pm).

Usual admission applies, plus £3 for the trail and crafts. No need to book. Visitors with season or a Worcester Residents’ Pass have free admission into The Commandery.

Plan your visit at museumsworcestershire.org.uk.
