Murder Mystery | Lights! Camera! Murder!

Experience a night out in Worcester with a twist this summer!
Enjoy an evening of fun at The Commandery, one of the most historic places in the city, where you can enjoy the atmospheric Great Hall and gardens by night.
Meet the characters and see if you can suss out who can be trusted and who is the murderer… Can you figure out the mystery? There’s only one way to find out!
Here’s the story…
Enjoy a glamourous evening out as Hollywood drama comes to The Commandery for one night only…
It is 1937 and The Commandery has been chosen as the filming location for the new Hollywood musical “Let’s Face the Music”.
The director, Cecil B. de Beer, has arrived with his two stars Stan and Ginger only to find that a horror movie, “Frankenstein – The Monster in the Castle” is already shooting. To make matters worse, it is being directed by his rival James Orca.
At this evening’s party, local guests will mingle with the ‘stars’ and ultimately become their jury!
Can you find the murderer?
Admission includes a fantastic hog roast (menu below – vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available). The bar will be open until 10.30pm.

Hog roast
Whole roasted pig and crackling with apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing
A selection of bread rolls and wraps (with gluten-free rolls)
With the following accompanying dishes:
- Tomato and mozzarella salad
- A mixed salad
- Coleslaw
- Herb dressed new potatoes
Or
- Freshly made chips, sweet potato fries, or a mixture of both – with a selection of sauces, salt and vinegar
Home-made vegetarian/vegan options
- Grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (without halloumi for vegans), served with wraps and a tzatziki dip and sweet and punchy sweet chilli sauce
Or
- Vegan pulled jackfruit. Served in a bun, steeped in a Hickory BBQ Sauce and dressed with a crunchy ‘slaw
