Collections Centre Store Tours: The Great Outdoors

Join our Vardo Curator and Social History Curator to look at Worcestershire’s two intertwined transport collections – the Agricultural collection and the beautiful Gypsy Vardo collection. This event takes place across two sites, starting at Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle before moving on to the stored collections at the Museums Worcestershire Collections Centre.

Own transport is required to move between the two sites.

Tours run 11am – 12pm (Hartlebury Castle) and 12:30 – 13:30pm (Museums Worcestershire Collections Centre) Cost £8.50 pp

Just because it isn’t on display at the museum, doesn’t mean that you can’t see it! Hear how we care for museum objects and get them ready for display. See Archaeology, Textiles, Furniture and World Culture collections. Walk amongst the agricultural and industrial history of the County. Every tour is different.
