Over the past few months, we’ve been busily working behind the scenes to launch a new ticketing system.

From Tuesday 18 November, Ticketsource will be the place you can book tickets for the Art Gallery and Museum and The Commandery.

Why are we making this change?

Our original ticketing system Art Tickets, provided by Art Fund in response to the pandemic, is closing at the end of this month.

We have researched many booking systems and will be implementing Ticketsource – an exceptional ticketing system that will make booking more efficient and more enjoyable. 🥳

When will Ticketsource be ready to use?

Ticketsource will be ready to use from Tuesday 18 November 2025.

All bookings will be unavailable on Monday 17 November, while we make the transition to the new system.

Will my existing tickets still be valid?

Yes! Any tickets that you’ve already purchased through Art Tickets are valid and can be used as usual.

Will there be a booking fee?

Ticketsource charges a booking fee of 7% plus VAT per ticket. In most cases, the fee will be added on to ticket prices, which is why you will notice a small increase in our prices.

For this reason, we have taken the decision not to apply an inflationary increase to most prices for 2026.

There is no change to the cost of Discworld exhibition tickets.

Will my personal information be secure in this transition?

Yes, Ticketsource is dedicated to providing a high-quality and secure service. They are fully PCI DSS compliant and adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations. All data is stored in the UK.

What if I prefer to book in person?

You are very welcome to pop in and book in person at the Art Gallery and Museum and The Commandery.

There is a new telephone booking service provided by Ticketsource.

After Tuesday 18 November, you can call 0333 666 3366 and they will book tickets for you.

What if I have trouble with this new system?

As always, our staff are always happy to help.
