Bite-size Talks in the Open Air: Worcestershire Folklore
Worcestershire Folklore in Museums Worcestershire’s Collections
To make social distancing possible, we are taking our Bite Size Talks outside*!
Join our World Cultures Curator for a special open air talk on Worcestershire Folklore in The Commandery’s beautiful gardens. Explore tales of meeting fairies and witches, how the devil created the landscape and find out about the weird and wonderful ways people have kept themselves safe and still do to this day! Rarely-shown objects from the collections will be on display for you to have a closer look at.
*Bite Size Talks usually happen inside the City Art Gallery, please note they will now take place at this address: Commandery Gardens, Sidbury, Worcester, WR1 2HU. Due to the outdoor setting, in the event of rain the talk will be postponed.
Bite size talks are 30mins starting at 1pm and cost £3 per person (this is for the talk only, if you wish to visit The Commandery – Worcester after the talk please note admission costs apply and can be found here).
Please book your tickets by calling the Art Gallery & Museum desk on 01905 25371 or visiting the gallery desk.
Plan a safe and enjoyable trip to our museums by reading our visitor guidance.
