Swashbuckle Sessions (pre-booking advised)

Join Captain Sharkbreath and his First Mate Ruby Cutlass to learn how to talk like a pirate, all about cannon drills and hear some pirate tales in our Swashbuckle Sessions. Beware the pirate curse and keep yer distance though, ‘less yer want to catch the black spot!*

Pirates at Hartlebury CastleCan you find the Captain’s treasure hiding in the castle? Free treasure trails will be available on the day to help families search the site! Booty craft bags will also be available (£2 each), including a wooden stand-up pirate ship you can decorate, a pirate tattoo, colouring picture & pirate phrase word-jumble.

We are asking families to bring their own pencil for the trail, and some felt tips for colouring to avoid swapping between family groups.

* Working within Covid-19 guidelines, numbers are limited and we strongly advise pre-booking your preferred session to avoid disappointment. Social distancing will be adhered to and the pirate sessions will be held outside in a roped off area. At this stage we understand that audience participation is not allowed, including calling out.

Session times are 11.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m., 2.00 p.m. & 3.00 p.m.
Spaces are limited to 30 per session. Under Covid-19 regulations, family bubbles can include: 2 adults, 2 concessions & 3 children.

Castle admission includes one pirate session (please pre-book to ensure your slot). Find admission prices here. For bookings telephone 01299 250416 – card payments are taken (no booking fee) and you will be able to collect your receipt on the day in lieu of a ticket.
