Visit The Commandery over the Christmas period to discover Christmas cheer inspired by A Christmas Carol.
Join one of our guides for a ‘Spirit of Christmas’ tour to discover the Victorian secrets hidden in this historic building, on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the run-up to Christmas.
Discover the 1881 census, visit the old kitchen with its hidden secrets, learn how the building has changed since the Victorian era and about the diverse inhabitants of this important building.
You can also delight in The Commandery dressed for Christmas throughout this period, inspired by the festive Dickensian story A Christmas Carol, and taste traditional mulled wine and gingerbread.
