Heritage Open Days at Hartlebury Castle
Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September | Hartlebury Castle
Enjoy FREE ENTRY to Worcestershire County Museum and Hartlebury Castle for the Heritage Open Days festival!
Hartlebury Castle has a fascinating history, with many intriguing stories to tell. Three of its bishops became saints, two were burned at the stake and one became the Pope who refused Henry VIII his divorce. They have amazing stories to tell and their history alongside that of Hartlebury Castle is inextricably linked with the history of the nation.
Discover the lives of the people who lived and worked at Hartlebury Castle, explore the fascinating history of the county in Worcestershire County Museum, and relax with a peaceful stroll around grounds taking in the wildlife and views across the moat.
In addition, especially for Heritage Open Days, browse wonderful works by professional Worcestershire artists. Enjoy a variety of arts and crafts, from traditional watercolours to stained glass and jewellery. The beautiful artworks will also be available to purchase, from cards and prints through to the original framed work.
With hands-on exhibitions, talking portraits and our adventure playground, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy at Hartlebury Castle.
