Museum After Hours

Drop-in 5.30pm – 8pm on 30 July, 27 August, 24 September and 10 December 2021.

End your week the perfect way: enjoy the Museum collections out of hours with music and a cocktail in hand!

Throughout the summer and beyond we will be celebrating the rich local musical talent! There will be a variety of performers from classical to more contemporary, and we’ll be serving a range of themed delicious drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to enjoy).

On Friday 27 August, enjoy the varied sounds of one man band Tone Tanner – from slide/roots, acoustic rock and funk loops.

On Friday 24 September, enjoy an evening viewing our newest exhibition Kurt Jackson: Clay Country, whilst listening to the varied repertoire of Harpist Katie Sherratt!

Free entry, donations welcomed. 

This event is drop in but drinks are only served to those seated at tables. Cash bar preferred, but card payments can be taken downstairs if needed.
