British Wildlife Photography Awards Retrospective Exhibition (TBC)
Thursday 1 – Friday 30 April 2021 (excluding Mondays)
To celebrate their 10th anniversary The British Wildlife Photography Awards has a brand-new touring exhibition, coming to The Commandery in April.
The competition has captured the imagination of photographers from all over the UK over the past 10 years and we are lucky enough to be able to exhibit these beautiful award-winning photographs in the glorious surroundings of The Commandery gardens. From Thursday 1 April, visitors will be able to view the exhibition as part of their visit to The Commandery. The main exhibition will be outside in the wonderful surrounding of The Commandery’s gardens and a digital exhibition will be inside the museum.
The awards were created to celebrate the talents of both amateur and professional photographers, while simultaneously highlighting the great wealth and diversity of British natural history, raising awareness about British biodiversity, species and habitats, encouraging all ages to discover, explore and help conserve our natural heritage.
This is a free exhibition, included in the Museum entrance fee.
More information about the awards and the exhibition can be found on the British Wildlife Photography Awards website.
