A Medieval Celebration: talks and tours

On Saturday 24th August, discover The Commandery’s history as the former Hospital of St Wulstan through talks and tours of this Grade 1 listed building, as the site prepares for its Medieval Celebrations.

Visit again on Sunday 25th August 2019 or Monday 26th August 2019, 10am – 5pm both days, for a medieval celebration with living history group Amicorum.

On Sunday and Monday: Enjoy Medieval living history as The Commandery transforms into St Wulstan’s hospital and opens its doors to all aspects of the building’s life between 1203 to 1485. Experience fire power, archery, food, music and medicine, demonstrations and the dole. Characters from the Middle Ages will bring one of Worcester’s oldest buildings to life. This promises to be a great day out for all the family, with plenty to see and take part in.
