Oak Apple Day celebrations
This May Bank Holiday enjoy Oak Apple Day celebrations, have a go at archery, see amazing musket firing, live music and more!
During the half term, help Charles II return to power in our Crown Trail, take part in garden games, plus there’ll be craft areas and messy play to get stuck into.
At The Commandery, we celebrate Oak Apple Day (officially 29 May) to mark the Restoration of the Monarchy in 1660, and give a nod to the building’s history as a stronghold for the Royalists during the Battle of Worcester in the English Civil War.
A small charge for some activities may apply.
