DESCRIPTION:Colin Ross Jack – Worcester Cathedral Series X\nThis annual exhibition is a great opportunity to see a fabulous and eclectic selection of art created by local artists.\nFounded in 1947 to encourage the appreciation, understanding and practice of the visual arts, the Society has exhibited every year since their first year of existence at Worcester City Art Gallery. The Worcester Society of Artists ( http://www.worcesterart.co.uk/ ) today is a thriving group of amateur and professional artists, open to anyone interested in creating art, who meet for a programme of lectures, practical sessions and exhibitions.\n\nLive artistic demonstrations\nArtist Derek Mills painting in the gallery in last year’s WSA exhibition\nFor three Wednesday’s during the exhibition’s run, visitors can see members of the Society of Artists painting live in the gallery. Get up close to works in progress and see painting techniques happening live in front of you.
