( https://www.museumsworcestershire.org.uk/events/designing-terry-pratchetts-discworld-30-years-of-paul-kidbys-illustration/ )\nEnjoy live music, entertainment and a chance for an iconograph with The Luggage, Rincewind, Mistress Weatherwax and other Discworld characters with the team from Better Than A Poke in the Eye ( https://betterthanapokeintheeye.co.uk/ ).\nMatt’s His Name will be performing from 11am to 11.45am and from 12noon to 1pm as part of Worcester Music Festival ( https://www.worcestermusicfestival.co.uk/bands/matts-his-name/ ) with his energetic folk-punk storytelling with heartfelt lyrics and raw acoustic grit.\nTickets are required for this exhibition – information can be found below. (Matt’s His Name’s performance can be enjoyed for free, without entry to the exhibition).\nAbout the exhibition\nThis unique exhibition brings together a stunning selection of Paul Kidby’s paintings and drawings of Discworld characters. Paul started working with Terry Pratchett in 1993, becoming the ‘artist of choice’ for the Discworld books. He designed the Discworld book jackets from 2002 until the final volume appeared in 2015, shortly after Sir Terry’s untimely death.\nThe exhibition includes colourful paintings, exquisite pencil drawings, and a rogue’s gallery of favourite characters including Rincewind, Twoflower, the Librarian, Tiffany Aching, the Wee Free Men, Nanny Ogg, Conina, Baron Saturday and Errol.\nThis is a touring exhibition from St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery.\nExhibition admission\nTickets are required to visit this exhibition and advance booking is available online ( https://museums-worcestershire.arttickets.org.uk/worcester-city-art-gallery-museum/designing-terry-pratchetts-discworld-30-years-of-paul-kidbys-illustration ). There are a variety of ticket options to choose from. The rest of the Art Gallery and Museum is free to visit as usual.\nOnline booking isn’t available on the day of your visit, but you are welcome to pay in the shop when you arrive.\nThe exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 10am to 3pm on Sunday.
