Presented by Leena Batchelor, The Commandery Poet in Residence, the collection explores the hidden spaces within, and stories behind, this beautiful building.\n“In creating this collection, I have explored witches’ marks with my fingertips, heard echoes in the shadows, and walked with ghosts.\nSpace and shadows also allow us time for reflection, a sorely needed activity in our busy lives. In the photographs and accompanying poems, I have alluded to the layers of life which have existed (and indeed within shade continue to co-exist) in this enigmatic space, allowing the viewer the freedom to examine their own emotions and thought-patterns.” – Leena Batchelor.\nUsual admission to The Commandery applies.\n
